The rose has been a symbol of love and beauty from the times of early civilization.  Accordingly, metalsmiths have a long tradition of creating roses from many alloys.  In this hands-on workshop, David will reveal the secrets to creating realistic, life-sized roses from steel.

Each participant will have the opportunity to create one or more roses with stems.  The methods used can be easily duplicated by the hobbyist or crafter without the need for specialized equipment.

The roses completed during the course will be works of art in their own right, or can be used as elements to add to a personal project.  No metal work experience needed.

Course fee $125.00 includes all materials, supplies and HST
